Hello

My name is Lukas Fontanilla.  I am an outdoor enthusiast with a love for the ocean. I have a passion for international experience and enjoy meeting people from different cultural backgrounds.  I love to learn and develop skills related data analytics and research...I also love books! I am originally from Southern California, however in 2014 wanting to experience someplace new, I moved up to the Palouse in Washington State.  There I studied International Business and Japanese at Washington State University, graduating in May of 2018.

Global Connector |

Data & Research Driven

I am a global connector who possesses a naturally curious nature.  I enjoy using my personal experiences from both abroad and at home, as well as knowledge gained through my studies and continued research, to help foster strong relationships and effective collaboration between people from a wide range of cultures.

I am also a passionate learner. Through self-directed study I have developed deeper knowledge in a variety of fields. Two specific self-directed projects include using Hofstede's cultural dimensions to develop a marketing mix proposal for Taco Bell's entrance into the Taiwanese market and using the programming language R to create a zoom-able geographical map of the London boroughs' 2014 carbon emissions levels.

As a young, enthusiastic professional who is independently motivated and enjoys collaborating with others, I desire opportunities that presents many challenges while allowing for creativity and growth. What most excites me is market research, using and analyzing data to help support business development and decisions.
